SEO might be a confusing venture for most people. Even many so-called-experts may have a difficult time keeping a
website presents itself the search engines.
First... the major search engines are constantly changing their algorithms to help bring you the the majority relevant
website listings for your search query. Search engine listings also change their algorithms to stay ahead of the
dishonest companies that quickly learn how to manipulate the search outcomes.
As soon as the search engines change the way they list websites, you can find unscrupulous people who set off right
to work racking your brains on how to cheat the machine.

"Page Rank" is Google's manner of putting a number to your authority of a internet site. If they believe your site is
extremely important, they'll give you a higher PR.
But it doesn't mean the authority to your site will get you indexed to suit your needs main keywords.
You can find thousands, maybe even millions, of websites which happen to have a low page show up, but are listed
on the first page of the major search engines like yahoo (including Google), for some top keywords. In comparison,
you can find just as many high PR ranking internet pages, which were buried in "no mans land" in regards to the
search engines (which include Google).
Also, additional major search engines (Google, WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER, Bing, and hundreds of smaller search
engines) don't really care about your "Google Page Rank" whatsoever. They only like giving their visitors relevant
So pay close attention to this... would you rather have a low Google PR of several, and be listed on the first page of
the search results? Or does one rather have a high PR of 5 and 6, and be listed on the tenth page with the search
results, where no one will ever find people..? I do believe the answer is obvious.
Among the list of websites I built for my other web business, hasn't possessed a Google PR of more than 2 for the
last 4 years (since it's been live online). But it has been on the first page off major search engines (with regard to my
main keywords) for 3 1/2 of the 4 years. I'll take the lower PR and keep your high listing any day of the week.
