SEO East Ayrshire
SEO might be a confusing venture for a lot of people. Even many so-called-experts may have a difficult time keeping
a website presents itself the search engines.
First... the search engines are constantly changing their algorithms in an effort to bring you the most relevant
website listings to your search query. Yahoo also change their algorithms to stay ahead of the dishonest companies
that quickly learn how to manipulate the search outcomes.
When the search engines change the direction they list websites, there are actually unscrupulous people who go right
to work racking your brains on how to cheat the machine.
This type of person using what's known as "Black Hat SEO" and if you are trying to run the best website, try to avoid
them at all expense! Sure your website will get a high listing rather easily using black hat solutions, but when the
search engines figure out what you're doing, they are going to likely ban your website from them listings altogether
(forever). And show up, they are going to figure it out.
2nd... There's a whole lot of misnomers about what's more important in regards to SEO. A few so called SEO gurus
can have you believe page rank is the most important thing when it comes to search engines. It's|This is certainly
simply not true.
Page rank (or Google PUBLIC REALTIONS) is one important factor in regards to ranking a site for the search engines,
nevertheless SERPs (or Google search Page) is precisely what really counts.
"Page Rank" is Google's manner of putting a number on the authority of a internet site. Once they believe your site is
extremely important, they'll give you a higher PR.
But it doesn't mean the authority to your site will get you indexed for you main keywords.
There are thousands, perhaps even millions, of websites that have a low page show up, but are listed relating to the
first page of the major search engine listings (including Google), for some top keywords. In comparison, there are
actually just as many high PR ranking internet pages, which might be buried in "no mans land" when it comes to the
search engines (which include Google).
Additionally, the other major search engines (Hotmail, WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER, Ask, and many hundreds smaller
search engines) don't really worry about your "Google Page Rank" in any respect. They only like giving their visitors
relevant search results.
So pay close attention to this... could you rather have a small Google PR of several, and become listed on the first
page in the search results? Or would you rather have a high PR of 5 or even 6, and be listed on the tenth page in the
search results, where no one will ever find people..? I believe the answer is evident.
One of many websites I built for my other online business, hasn't experienced a Google PR greater than 2 for the
previous 4 years (considering it's been live using the web). But many experts have on the first page off major search
engines (with regard to my main keywords) for 3 1/2 of those 4 years. I'll take the low PR and keep this high listing
any day with the week.
