SEO Garw Valley
SEO can be a confusing venture for most people. Even many so-called-experts may have a difficult time keeping a
website presents itself the search engines.
Primary... the search engines are constantly changing their algorithms to help bring you the most relevant website
listings for a search query. Search engines like yahoo also change their algorithms to stay before dishonest
companies that quickly figure out how to manipulate the search outcomes.
As soon as the search engines change the direction they list websites, you can find unscrupulous people who go right
to work trying to figure out how to cheat the system.
These people are using what's known since "Black Hat SEO" and if you're trying to run the best website, stay away
from them at all cost! Sure your website will receive a high listing rather rapidly using black hat tactics, but as soon as
the search engines figure out what you're doing, they will likely ban your website off their listings altogether
(forever). And definitely, they will figure it out.
Minute... There's a great deal of misnomers about what's more important when it comes to SEO. Some so called SEO
gurus will have you believe page rank is the most important thing when it comes to search engine listings. It's|This is
certainly simply not true.
Google page rank (or Google PUBLIC REALTIONS) is one important factor in regards to ranking a site for the search
engines, but SERPs (or Google search Page) is what really counts.
"Page Rank" is Google's manner of putting a number to the authority of a internet site. Once they believe your site is
important, they'll supply you with a higher PR.
But it doesn't mean the authority of your site will get you indexed in your case main keywords.
There are actually thousands, perhaps even millions, of websites which happen to have a low page show up, but are
listed to the first page of the major search engine listings (including Google), for some top keywords. In comparison,
there are actually just as many high PR ranking web pages, which can be buried in "no mans land" when it comes to
the search engines (including Google).
Also, the other major search engines (Google, WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER, Ask, and 100s of smaller search engines)
don't really worry about your "Google Page Rank" whatsoever. They only care about giving their visitors relevant
So ask yourself this... could you rather have a low Google PR of 1 or 2, and become listed on the first page of the
search results? Or could you rather have a higher PR of 5 and also 6, and become listed on the tenth page of the
search results, where no one will ever find people..? I believe the answer is evident.
Among the list of websites I built for my other web business, hasn't had a Google PR of more than 2 for the previous
4 years (considering it's been live using the web). But many experts have on the first page off major search engines
(for my main keywords) for 3 1/2 of 4 years. I'll take the lower PR and keep the high listing any day with the week.
